VOUNI
Approximately 4km west of Soli
in a spectacular setting is the palace of Vouni. It
is thought that the palace was built in 480BC by a king
of Marion
as an outpost in the wake of a failed revolt. The road
heading up to Vouni
palace is a narrow, winding mountain road not for the
faint hearted! But the journey is certainly worth it
as the view is so unbelievable it will take your breath
away.
