In the quaint, rural community of Polis a relaxed pace

The small yet friendly resort takes its name form the
Greek word for city and is the shortened version of
Polis
Khrysokhou, ‘The
city of the Golden Land’. In Polis there are
no large hotels or modern shopping centres, instead
you will find cosy little tavernas with traditional
music and friendly little coffee shops situated in the
village square. To the west of Polis is the busy little
fishing port of Latchi. Before Latchi
became a tourist area its main industry apart from fishing
had been diving for natural sea sponges.
