Pegia village is located approximately 19km northwest of Pafos. Just 4.5km away, near a fishing refuge are the ruins of two early Christian basilicas with interesting mosaic floors depicting animals. This must have been an important establishment in early Christian times. Pegia is famous for its fountains located in the picturesque stone paved village square.
