KRASSOCHORIA
The area which is known as Krassochoria
or the ‘Wine Villages’ can be located
on the south side of the Troodos
range. Here in Krassochoria the old traditions are very
much kept alive and the cultivation of the vine yards,
and wine-making are still the main occupation of most
of the inhabitants. This is the area which produces
the famous local
dry red wine
